Girls aren’t safe!

Hey people! I’m Aakansha this side and I’ve got some positive vibes for you! Yes, this is my first blog and I’m a quite nervous but okay, that’s cool!

So basically, right now all of us know how the situation is and we’re familiar with the cases happening nowadays! What I think is that there’s no point to write blogs and record videos about “stop rape” And all because do you really think this is going to affect? Actually no! Girls are somehow not going to get the permission to go out at nights, have fun, party because if somehow there parents allow, then we’ve some amazing bitches on the roads and a big applause you know, a big applause for them! It’s not the first time, we all have seen a lot of such cold blooded cases and I myself literally get speechless that how? How can someone be so cruel? Humanity? Lost somewhere in the Atlantic Ocean!
And this is not only with the girls but nowadays boys are raped too! Rather it be a girl or a boy but “rape” Is “rape”

And now if we talk about trust, then yes! I’m myself a girl and what I say to all the people out there is that DON’T TRUST! What all we can do is try to be safe and protect ourselves from those bitchesโ€ฆ Learn self defense techniques so that you don’t need to be dependent on any person to go out with! And the most important thing I recommend is walk proudly, don’t be scared, because all of us know that the lost, scared people are targeted!
Don’t think that this is not going to happen with you because with the ones happened, too didn’t know! Be prepared for ever moment, wake up every morning with the message “yes, I’m strong and I’m not afraid of anyone”
India is a land of customs, religion, norms, folkways, folklore, etc where Parvati, Durga, Sarasvati, Laxmi are worshipped as goddesses and on the other hand, women face violence such as eve-teasing, harassment, sexual assault.

The “Crimes in India -2019” report shows that crimes against women have gone up by 7.3% last yearโ€ฆIndia recorded an average 87 rape cases every day in 2019 and 4,05,861 cases of crimes against women during the year, a rise of over 7% from 2018 – shows latest data released by the National Crime Records Bureau.
Participants from National Crime and Victimization Survey data (90% female, 10% male) are much like victims of other violent crimes (25%non-white, higher than average unemployment, young, and unmarried)
This can be clearly seen that no person is safe, there are rapists in every corner
But all time there’re girl victims more than boys, girls were targeted more and girls are targeted more!

Why arenโ€™t Indian women and girls safe? Who is responsible for their safety? How should that safety be assured? Since December 2012, these three questions have become a fixture on the national agenda! In 2012, the horrid Nirbhaya gang rape in the nation’s capital Delhi outraged not only in India but across the world compelling the government to overtake the anti-rape laws. However, these legal amendments have not put an end to the harassment faced by the women. These were continue even after many laws passed by the government.

And to be honest women’s aren’t a toy to play with! They have their own feelings and they have the rights… You’re no one to decide anything about a girl who’s mature enough to take her own decisions! She know what’s good for her and what can harm her, and after knowing all this we have rapists ๐Ÿ’”
The main thing is everyone needs some privacy, it’s not just boys who can party all night but girls also do want to, but they can’t… By hook by crook they can’t! They can never have that freedom like boys to rome out on roads at night with no fear.

However, the concerted efforts of the courts, the legislature, the Law Commission of India, non-governmental organisations and womenโ€™s activists have led to important steps forward in the delivery of justice to victims of rape. Amendments in the law have been made in both factual and procedural details. Further, changes have been made regarding the legal obligations of medical personnel and other healthcare providers in response to a case of sexual assault. The government is taking a step towards the sexual assaults and new laws are too passed to punish the rapists but the first step is to be taken by us ourselves to not even let it happen!

Thank you so much, this is something I felt is wrong and people should be aware! Do like, comment and share! โค
